With the evolution of our business, we’re changing our name from Van Meter Industrial, Inc. to Van Meter Inc. Along with the name change, comes a new logo, branding colors and website. The changes will better reflect who we are, who we serve and what we provide.
Why the change?

Who is Van Meter today?
We’re still the same company you’ve come to know and respect over the years – only now we provide you with more than ever before. The breadth of our products and services includes automation, commodities, data communications, electrical, lighting and power transmission. In addition, we recently expanded within the utility and energy sectors.
Why is “Industrial” no longer in the name?
While we have always served and will continue to serve the industrial market, our business continues to expand. We serve the contractor, commercial, industrial, institutional, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and utility markets with our electrical and mechanical supplies, services and custom solutions.
What does this mean to you?
You will still receive the same quality products and services. The only difference you’ll notice is that our branding has changed to the use of blue and gold colors, a new logo has been introduced and our website and employee e-mails have transitioned to vanmeterinc.com. Our previous website and e-mails can still be used; however, you’ll be redirected to the updated version.
Some changes are already being made with additional transitions coming over time. Our new name and branding will co-exist with our current one for some time.
Why the new logo?
Just as our business has evolved, so has our logo. The Van Meter logo is a visual representation of who we are. The continuous two circles entwined are a symbol of our culture at Van Meter, focused on relationships, teamwork and continuous improvement. Our font has been updated from a standard Arial font to a bold, innovative yet classic Cambria font. Overall, the change will better represent who we are, ever evolving.
How has Van Meter evolved?
Most recently, we have made advancements in serving the contractor market and have expanded within the utility and energy sectors.
Within the contractor market, our commodities team is focused on providing the right inventory at the right price at the right time with the right customized solutions. Our services include on-site pulling head installation, wire labeling, and wire pulls onto single spools, parallel spools, compartment reels and stacked paralleled reels. We have also invested in piggyback lift trucks to transport wire at your jobsite.
In addition, we have also expanded into the utility sector. Van Meter supplies everything from transforms and safety equipment to arresters and hardware. When coupled with our technical expertise, we now have the capability to offer a complete package of utility product solutions for new or remodel work.
Our product and service offering in clean energy has expanded to include energy efficiency, renewable energy and smart grid technologies. Our clean energy division will perform an on-site analysis and coordinate all energy efficient products and solutions we offer into one comprehensive plan to reduce energy within our customers’ facilities and locations.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’ll continue to do whatever it takes to best serve you by finding new products, services and customized solutions.
