Industrial Controls Essentials: Enclosed Starter Snap-Together Wiring Technology

October 18, 2016 | Video | Automation

In this video, Cody McLaughlin, Van Meter Automation Support Specialist, highlights Rockwell Automation’s enclosed starter snap-together wiring technology. With a few application questions, this product solution can greatly reduce installation time down to 10 minutes versus the traditional installation process that can take up to 40-minutes.

Enclosed starter wiring made easy

Our modular approach to enclosed starter selection and assembly makes it quicker and easier for you to get your application up and running. Select components from each category to build your starter, assemble the starter using our keyed and color-coded snap-together wiring system, and then you’re ready to go!

  2. Command and Indication Devices
  3. Overload Relays
  4. Transformers
How It Works

Component wiring is color-coded by function. The wiring sleeve cover corresponds to a colored label on the terminal block. Keyed connectors snap these components into the terminal block for faster assembly time.

Ideal for...

  • When you need your starter quickly
  • Reducing wiring errors
  • When you need to assemble on site

10 minutes to snap in components vs. 40 minutes when wiring traditionally.
