When the company grows and prospers – so do our ESOP values. Our stock value outperforms average retirement funds. While most 401K plans return 4 to 6 percent, our stock value has increased an average of 30 percent over the past five years. On an annual basis, a contribution to each employee’s ESOP account is made by Van Meter’s Trust based on salary and the company’s performance. Unlike most plans, the ESOP is fully funded by the company. Employee-owners invest only their time, effort and talent.
