One of Van Meter’s main distribution areas is in Cottage Grove, MN, the former site of Werner Electric’s corporate headquarters. Part warehouse, part training facility, the Cottage Grove branch location has several labs and hands-on areas for customers to experience product demos and training.

It opened in 2008 in a new, 122,000-square-foot facility located on a 20-acre tract in the Cottage Grove Industrial Park. In 2015, an additional 49,800 square feet of space were added to the distribution center and an additional 16,700 square feet were added to the office area.

The distribution center stocks thousands of products to provide fast order fulfillment, complete with standard next-day and same-day delivery service.

Cottage Grove is a Rockwell Automation Authorized Distributor location.
