COURSE DESCRIPTION
This one-day hands-on seminar will address the basics of 2-wire and 3-wire motor control circuits using ladder diagrams and wiring diagrams. This building block of electrical theory utilizes relay logic concepts to establish a logic perspective. Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting skills will be utilized. The National Electrical Code will be observed throughout the instruction but most specifically Article 430.

Student Materials
Students should bring basic tools (small needle-nose pliers and small flathead screwdriver) and a current NEC codebook.
Hands On Experience
Students will build a variety of control circuits incorporating push buttons, limit switches, auxiliary contacts, etc.
