COURSE DESCRIPTION:
FOUR-DAY COURSE

This course will provide you with an overview of the various FactoryTalk® Historian tools for collecting data. You will learn how to configure a FactoryTalk Historian Site Edition system.

The course also covers how to use Microsoft Excel to create and modify FactoryTalk Historian tags. During the course, you will learn how to apply exception and compression to filter data to be archived. Also, you will be given an opportunity to compare the use of Polled versus Advised data collection modes. Data buffering, layers/methods of redundancy, archive management and backup will also be covered.

Upon completion of the course, you will have gained exposure to the many aspects of the FactoryTalk Historian system and be able to configure FactoryTalk Historian to collect data.

Beginning June 1, Rockwell Automation will no longer offer IACET CEUs for their instructor-led and e-learning courses in North America. Customers will still receive a certificate for courses successfully completed. Rockwell Automation course certificates of completion will, in many cases, meet the requirements for professional development (PDH) training.
