Van Meter Welcomes 2025 Summer Interns

Van Meter is proud to introduce the Summer 2025 class of interns who will dedicate their time and talent to the world of electrical distribution over the next 12 weeks (May 19 - August 5).

This year’s interns hail from across the Midwest representing several schools and areas of study. During their time at Van Meter, interns will take part in an immersive experience designed to teach them about the company and help them explore industry career options.

“Each summer, our interns bring fresh perspectives and curiosity to the workplace,” said Alicia Murphy, Van Meter’s Chief People Officer. “We look forward to hosting them, learning from them and perhaps someday inviting them to become part of our incredible company.”

Interns will work closely with an assigned mentor and have opportunities to shadow multiple roles, participate in community impact initiatives, visit various branch locations, complete a final project and more.
