Conductors: Raceway Fill, Ampacity & More

CND100

COURSE PURPOSE

This fast-paced, four-hour seminar weaves through the NEC, to roadmap the basics of conductor selection for general use. Application of various tables and ampacity calculations for temperature corrections are incorporated with practice problems throughout the session. Individual conductors, cables (NM, etc.) and cords (SOO, etc.) require the electrician to know the where, what, when and importantly why the of derating of ampacities is crucial to the life of the system.
