COURSE PURPOSE

This course provides an in-depth look into arc-flash and PPE for systems over 600 volts and the principles that surround these standards. The training is presented from a practical approach as well as the academics of NFPA and OSHA (NFPA 70 and 70E, OSHA 29 CFR 1910).

Electricians, maintenance technicians and operators who work around higher voltage systems should take this course.

Student Materials

Students should bring an electrician’s knife (not a razor knife) and needlenose pliers.
