COURSE PURPOSE

This course will examine the new NFPA-70E, the new changes to the standard and how it relates with OSHA CFR29 – 1910 for electrical maintenance. Students will learn best practices regarding arc flash safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Ch. 2 – Safety related maintenance requirements
  • Ch. 3 – Article 300: Safety requirements for special equipment
  • Ch. 4 – Article 400: Installation safety requirements
