Electrical distributor to open new location, leverage construction expertise
NEWS RELEASE - CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Van Meter Inc. today announced it will open a new location in the greater Kansas City metro area by yearend. The southward expansion is part of the company’s 2025 growth strategy.

According to Hanover Research, the Kansas City electrical market is poised for continued growth as a result of recent population increases and business development throughout the region. Thriving sectors in the market, like bioscience, distribution and transportation, are fueling demand for large, high-tech facilities.
